Today, while looking at the web clips; I came across the following quote and for a second it took me away from myself.
"There's no present. There's only the immediate future and the recent past."
-George Carlin
When you say someone is walking means one's feet are moving forward continuously...but wait..who told you its a present situation, one can stop and take a pause at any point of time. You never know, what is the current position of one's feet. You just try to predict the immediate future of one's motion and you say it as someone is walking. And moment you say, one is walking its observation made in recent past.
People tell you to forget the past and don't care about the future...live your present moment...what is that? when there is no such thing called present then whats that we are living?...As I am writing now, words that I am going to type are from immediate future and what I see on screen is recent past..what happened to the present? where is it?
Ahhh......totally confused....so basically....you see things are going to past and you can't change it....so don't worry about them....one can not tell exact future...we always predict about things and hope that they will be as we thought...so don't care about future also....and as there is no such thing called PRESENT....you just smile and start moving...
